Dead Air Fresheners "I Try To Show My Love" |
 |
Although we recommend listening to them
at least once at high volume, these recordings may be enjoyed
with or without headphones, through any modern playing device,
at any preferred decibel, or not at all.
Some recorded on site, much remixed live in the Plastic
Duck studios with Ricardo Wang... a wonderful tape of mystique
concrete, electronic keyboard soundscapes and otherwise...
we survived through both an earthquake and angry college
administrators making this one for you so pick it up ok

| * PDR #06 Wood Paneling "Pine Hut"
|
 |
|
The favorite sons of Mason County entertain
you with two tales of backwoods discovery... spirits both
malevolent and benevolent dance a jittery jig together and
find more geography to write maps about... a young girl
finds out secrets of drinking piss, floating houses, and
livin' in a grass pile... whilst a drinker finds way thru
to an island after consumin' a wretched ol' nordwich potion..
sit down a spell at the breezy skyway lounge.. they'll serve
you rotten cabbage there for sure.

| * PDR #05 Early Morning Initials
"Grapeview, WA" (split
w/) Demon Attack "Indoor Tigers" |
 |
This is a tape split between two old ex-mason
county-ites Aerick and Jeff.
Aerick, as the twang operation "the early morning initials"...
offers up reminiscent memories of his old backwoods micro
middle school in Grapeview, Washington... songs tell stories
of recess rituals, bear obsessed dandruff children, an insane
brush picker, dirt bike trails, and being caught with pornography...
also accentuated with early organ experiments....
Jeff's side.. as the too much time nothing
to do in Texas project "demon attack".. pounces
on you slowly with multi layered 4track doodles.. cheap
keyboard loops and sunk treasure ship of vocals under a
sea of sonic interest... pass through the juggler's test
to find that secret haystack with a shutterbug hidden!!
we'll find out soon enough why those calculators are crying.

| * PDR #02 Wood Paneling "Trudging
Dewatto Warbler" |
 |
|
So there was the devil, sitting in his
rickety chair...between his teeth...grinding the lusciousness
of half molded teabags.. his gaze meets the expanse of the
hardwood floors.. thru windows four moonbeams cast shadows
into the smouldering lodge. Memories of Baghdad and Mürnich
were left to him...the devil..he had questioned the woodchuck
but could only hear the dull cry of a moose's drone...the
fixtures have all been blown out and in the corner of the
hall one may see the mineworker...curled up and shivering...the
devil now plays his wicked phonomachine curdling the din
of music...made for documentaries about rotting trailer
park tragedies "this is the satisfying sound of wood
paneling" cooed the devil as he now fades into the
room with red and black carpeting...the old curtains are
drawn and the lamp misses its biggest bulb...the musicians
now enter the carpeted cabin room from the depths of the
wicked phonomachine..."may I kiss the inspiration of
my forgotten trudge into you?" the devil asks...a pact
is then made and before their eyes unfolds the dead book
of dewatto...the warbler now spitting back his tea to the
shady forest.

with Behead the Prophet's Jordan Rain on the drums...music
made standing up in a head rush flow of blood.
the plastic duck tape that started it all!!!... if you have
any interest in noise this tape is definately something
you should be wrapping yr. hands around... masterful furious
