| UPDATE Archive Pages Present & Past: What WAS New... as of 2008年09月14日: It's Sunday and I just finished up filling in for Phan Nguyen on his KAOS radio show "Bundle of Joy". If anyone was tuning in and/or interested in seeing a playlist of what I played, I posted it up on my site here: BOJ Playlist 2008-09-14. Tomorrow (Monday) night will be the broadcast of yet another editon of the Chuggypig Unlimited Express. Once again I'll be doing a live updated playlist during the course of that show... and be sure to listen to the show via KAOS' live on-air streaming if you're up and about from 11 to 1am. UPDATE 2008-09-16: Alright, wanted to add here that I finally added downloadable MP3 archives of Chuggypig Unlimited Express. Also here is an MP3 of the show's promo spot if you want to hear that as well as of 2008年09月08日: Just turned 31 years old on the 6th... had a fun little gathering at my new(ish) place, thanks for all those who came by or called/messaged to wish me well! Time keeps creeping along... It does. As of right now I'm getting ready for another night's installment of the Chuggypig Unlimited Express. It will run, as it does every Monday, from 11pm to 1am on KAOS Radio. If you haven't noticed yet I've also started doing my playlists live during the show. So while you tune in you can follow along with what I'm currently playing as well as what I've played. Don't have it set up to autorefresh though, so you'll have to hit F5 or something to do that on your own. Hope some of you out there find this feature useful! as of 2008年08月03日: Long time without any new words on this front page. Either way, the comic I was working Covington Detour Part 1 is finished. I'll try to get some more details up about that later. Also, I'm living back in Olympia, WA now and that means I've also started doing radio again.... but not the Super Secret Lodge Show... no. Instead I've got a new show called The Chuggypig Unlimited Express on Mondays from 11pm to 1am. Tune in some time if you have the chance. as of 2008年04月24日: Just about to tuck in for a little sleep here after a long day of working on and finishing up the second issue of the Unloved Potato Bug (a book compiling comic works I've done over the past few years). It's actually been 7 years since I've done one of these... that's nuts! Here is a scan of the front cover, which I painted up early Wednesday: The big reason why I was rushing all day to get this thing done is that I'm going to be heading down to Portland this weekend for the Stumptown Comics Festival. I'll be there at table #10 with some other Olympia peeps, so be sure to swing by if you're planning on attending! Work on Covington Detour is coming along a little behind schdule, but coming along none the less. I'll have the first installment (out of two) of that ready on time for the Olympia Comics Festival (as long as tragedy fails to strike me)! One last note, I know I've been bad about updating this site. I'll try to fix that when I get more breathing room... but until then... I've actually been more active updating my Deviant Art page than anywhere else.. so check it, yeah
as of 2008年02月20日: Alright, Duckhugger.com is back up and I'm able to access the FTP again. I'll work on getting a substantial update to the site in a bit, but for now I need to at least announce that (until further notice)... ...this Saturday the 22nd will be my last Super Secret Lodge Show for awhile. I'm actually going to be living outside of Olympia (in Shelton, WA) for a month or two so I need to pair down the amount of weekly trips I'll need to make to and fro. So be sure to tune in from 8 to 10pm on Saturday at KAOS 89.3 FM or www.kaosradio.org and maybe give me a call during the show, if you feel so inclined, (360) 867-KAOS.
as of 2008年01月13日: Man, it's been a long time since I've updated this page. I'm sorry for leaving you all stranded like that. I honestly wasn't able to access the page for some time due to a program I used going on the fritz and taking the site login info with it. I'll try to be better about giving myself more backup login info in the future. Playlists have been updated as well as the archives (put up the live shows with Eric Ostrowski and Charlie McAlister)! I'm also sorry to announce that Michael Griffen of such wonderful musical endevours as Noggin, Behead the Prophet N.L.S.L., Bone Cure, Artie Smudges Trio, ect... passed away on January 7th of 2008. It's far too much of an understatement to say that this man was a friend and inspiration to me. Last night on the Lodge show I tried to play a large amount of music that Michael was involved in, I felt rather awkward and stumbled over my words... unable to state exactly how much this man meant to me and others. Noggin was one of the first releases that my Plastic Duck Recording label put out (and can be downloaded for free here). Other than just the music, Michael was very encouraging of free-form artists. He was instrumental in giving of advice to me when I was starting out in music and was also encouraging in so many ways with artistic pursuits. The photo here is from a trip I took up to Calgary, Alberta, Canada with him in 1997. He played as Noggin at my friend Brandon Stosuy's wedding with Corey Brewer standing in for Eric Ostrowski. I also made some racket at the reception of that wedding too... and the pre-wedding bowling game that some of us went out to play is where my nickname "Duckhugger" originates from.
